The ROBOTOUS RFT44-SB01 is an ultra-compact 6-axis force/torque sensor specifically designed for robotic applications requiring high precision, fast force feedback, and minimal installation space. With a diameter of only 44 mm and a height of 20 mm, it is ideal for collaborative robots, medical robots, research platforms, and compact end-effectors.
The sensor simultaneously measures forces and torques along all six axes, delivering accurate data for force control, impedance control, compliance control, and AI-based tactile interaction. Its high resolution enables the detection of extremely small forces, making it well suited for precision assembly, human–robot interaction, and sensitive manipulation tasks.
The RFT44-SB01 features an integrated dust-protection layer, enhancing durability and operational stability in industrial environments with fine dust or oil mist. With an overload tolerance of up to 150% of the full scale, the sensor is protected against accidental short-term overloads, improving reliability and service life in real-world robotic applications.

A. Preparation & Installation
Secure the sensor to the robot end-effector or force-testing mechanism using standard mounting screws or fixtures.
Connect the signal cable to the data acquisition or controller unit via USB, CAN, or Ethernet, depending on the configuration.
Supply power according to specifications (typically 12–24 VDC) and verify normal startup.
B. Calibration & Integration
Launch the provided software or SDK before operation.
Perform zero-offset calibration to eliminate residual force/torque caused by tool weight.
Integrate sensor data into the robot control loop for force feedback, learning algorithms, or AI-based processing.
C. Operation & Maintenance
Avoid exposure to water or high humidity unless additional IP protection is applied.
Do not apply continuous loads exceeding 150% FS.
Clean the sensor with a dry cloth only; avoid chemicals.
Store in a dry, stable environment to maintain long-term accuracy.
