Step 1: Device connection
Connect the USB cable from the computer to the USB-B port on the BB-UHR304
Step 2: Driver installation
On Windows: the operating system will automatically detect the device or download the appropriate FTDI driver
On Linux/macOS: the device is typically recognized automatically without additional driver installation
Step 3: RS-232 device connection
Connect RS-232 cables from external devices (PLCs, scanners, sensors, etc.) to the corresponding four COM ports
Step 4: Communication configuration
Open serial port monitoring or communication software on the PC
Configure baud rate, parity, stop bits, and flow control according to the connected devices
Step 5: Operation check
Observe the TX/RX LED indicators to confirm data transmission activity
If LEDs do not indicate activity, recheck cable connections and COM port settings
